Salary Range

$60,000 – 85000

Daily Pay Range

Leader: $200 – 300/day

2nd Mate: $550 – 650/day

Minimum Education

High School Diploma or GED

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise deckhands during mooring and cargo tasks
  • Train and mentor new crew members
  • Lead safety drills and enforce standards
  • Stand watch and assist with navigation (Second Mate)
  • Maintain navigational charts and safety gear
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • TWIC card
  • MMC (Lead Deckhand)
  • STCW Basic Training
  • Officer training and OICNW endorsement (Second Mate)
