Dr. James has served as the Director of Career and Technical Education for nine years with Vicksburg Warren School District.  Before becoming an administrator, he served as a Student Services Coordinator and a math teacher for twelve years.  He has received many awards for his contribution within education such as being selected as the 2nd Congressional District Administrator of the Year in 2022 and the Young, Gifted and Empowered Educator of the Year in 2024.
