Heather Ervin is the Editor-in-Chief of Marine Log, where she has led the magazine’s editorial direction and played a key role in launching and growing its successful events portfolio. Before joining Marine Log, Heather was Associate Editor at The Waterways Journal, where she covered the inland waterways sector and honed her expertise in maritime trade journalism. A graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in magazine journalism, Heather was named to the IMX 40 Under 40 list for her leadership and contributions to the maritime media space. She is also a member of Women in Maritime Operations (WIMOs) and Maritime Pride. Outside of work, Heather is a proud mother to a three-year-old son, and an avid reader.
