When Katie Dunn started working on the river as an intern at 21 years old, she had no idea the river would become her second home. In 2016, Katie completed her bachelor’s degree in agricultural business from LSU. Geaux Tigers! In 2024, she completed her MBA with a concentration in project management. She currently serves as the Assistant Stevedore Manager for ADM/Artco. The river has allowed her to provide for herself and continue doing what she loves most: stevedoring and educating others through We Work the Waterways.
