Nikki Fondren received her degree in educational psychology from Mississippi State University in 2014. While working full time at Mississippi State as the Alumni and Donor Engagement Coordinator for the College of Arts and Sciences, she continued her education, receiving her master’s in higher education and leadership with a concentration in student affairs in 2020. She volunteered six years with Junior Auxiliary of Starkville holding positions as the VP of Membership and Public Relations Chair. Nikki’s background in education, fundraising, and her work with non-profits bodes well for the work she will do for We Work the Waterways. Nikki currently resides in Auburn, AL with her husband, Tyler who works for Auburn Athletics and her dog, Izzy who loves the outdoors.
