Pamela Maxwell, Director of Programs & Operations at We Work the Waterways, holds a Bachelor of Education from Mississippi University for Women. She furthered her education at Mississippi State University, earning a Master of Education/Literacy. After dedicating 25 years to education and leadership, Pamela is channeling her vast experience into the maritime industry by connecting communities to industry through education-driven workforce development initiatives that create pathways for individuals to thrive.

A dedicated community member, Pamela resides in Cleveland, Mississippi, with her husband Robert. Together, they actively contribute to their local community through various service initiatives and civic organizations.
