Hello, my name is Paul Casebonne. I was born on July 16, 1993, in the Kenner–Metairie area of Louisiana. I started my career in the maritime industry in 2013 as a deckhand with Blessey Marine Services, where I learned the value of hard work and built the foundation for everything that followed.

In 2014, I continued my journey with Plimsoll Marine, working there through 2019 and gaining experience that helped shape me both professionally and personally. In 2020, I returned to Blessey Marine Services, where I continue to work today, always striving to grow and improve in my field.

In 2024, I was introduced to the Maritime Throwdown, and it quickly became one of the most impactful experiences of my life. Through it, I had the opportunity to meet incredible people, including Captain Kenny Brown, his family, and the entire Maritime Throwdown community, who have all made a lasting impression on me.

In May 2025, I competed in the Maritime Throwdown Finals in Nashville, Tennessee, going up against some of the best in the industry. I’m proud to say I came out on top as the champion. That moment meant a lot to me and reflected years of hard work and dedication.

I’m truly thankful for every opportunity I’ve been given. I thank God for everything in my life, and I know I wouldn’t be where I am today without the love and support of my amazing wife.
