Leader: $200 – 300/day
2nd Mate: $550 – 650/day
Minimum Education

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise deckhands during mooring and cargo tasks
- Train and mentor new crew members
- Lead safety drills and enforce standards
- Stand watch and assist with navigation (Second Mate)
- Maintain navigational charts and safety gear
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- TWIC card
- MMC (Lead Deckhand)
- STCW Basic Training
- Officer training and OICNW endorsement (Second Mate)
