Manage and maintain submersible or semi-submersible tankers used to transport fuels, chemicals, or other materials beneath the ocean’s surface; monitor pressure systems, ensure safe cargo transfer, and navigate underwater routes using sonar and GPS systems.
Salary Range
$60,000 – $70,000/year
Daily Pay Range
$230 – $280/day
Minimum Education
High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in marine technology, naval engineering, or a related field preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor submersible tanker systems for safe fluid transport
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on underwater equipment
- Communicate with surface crews and follow marine safety regulations
- Record operational data, including depth, pressure, and cargo levels
